What is Field Grade Advisory Group?

Field Grade Advisory Group is an independent, veteran-focused healthcare consulting and educational firm. We provide general benefits education, administrative healthcare navigation, medical-record organization for personal use, professional-resource navigation, and long-term support planning.

Who manages Field Grade Advisory Group?

Brooke Hossfeld, MPH, CIC, MLS(ASCP)CM leads and manages the firm’s daily operations, client workflows, service delivery, and quality processes.

Major Richard “Jake” Hossfeld, USMC (Ret.), participates only in a limited, intermittent, and non-operational veteran-perspective advisory capacity. He does not manage daily operations, client services, personnel, or communications.

Are you a law firm or healthcare provider?

No. Field Grade Advisory Group is not a law firm, healthcare provider, financial adviser, employment agency, or licensed clinical case-management service.

Do you guarantee results?

No. We do not guarantee healthcare access, program eligibility, VA benefits, disability ratings, referrals, employment, financial results, or other outcomes.

Do you work with caregivers and family members?

Yes. Our educational and organizational services are available to veterans, caregivers, service members, and families.

BENEFITS EDUCATION AND ACCREDITATION

Is Field Grade Advisory Group accredited by VA?

No. Field Grade Advisory Group is not a VA-accredited representative and does not prepare, present, or prosecute claims for VA benefits.

Do you help prepare VA claims or appeals?

No. We do not prepare benefit applications, claim forms, evidence packets, supporting statements, Supplemental Claims, Higher-Level Reviews, or Board Appeals.

Can you explain VA benefit programs?

Yes. We may provide general education about publicly available VA programs, terminology, official resources, and the roles of accredited representatives.
We do not apply benefit standards to an individual’s circumstances or determine eligibility.

Can you review my VA decision or tell me which appeal option to choose?

Can you determine whether I qualify for SMC, Aid & Attendance, or caregiver benefits?

No. We may explain the general purposes and terminology associated with these programs, but we do not evaluate individual eligibility, recommend benefit levels, or prepare applications and appeals.

Where can I obtain claim-specific assistance?

MEDICAL RECORDS AND HEALTHCARE NAVIGATION

Can you organize extensive healthcare records?

Yes. Within an agreed administrative scope, our operating team may inventory, label, index, and arrange healthcare records for personal reference, healthcare discussions, care coordination, and family planning.

Do you prepare claim evidence packets?

No. We do not select, organize, or prepare records for submission in a VA claim or appeal.
Our medical-record organization service is limited to neutral organization for personal, healthcare, and family-planning purposes.

Do you review DBQs, nexus letters, or medical opinions?

No. We do not evaluate DBQs, nexus letters, or medical opinions for completeness, sufficiency, service connection, ratings, or claims purposes.

What does healthcare-navigation guidance include?

It may include administrative organization of appointments, referrals, providers, records, caregiver information, and general questions to discuss with licensed healthcare professionals.
It does not include medical advice, treatment recommendations, or licensed clinical case management.

Can you communicate with my attorney or healthcare professional?

With the client’s specific authorization, we may make a limited administrative introduction or confirm that contact information was received.
We do not direct professional work, participate in legal or medical strategy, or share sensitive information without authorization.

PROFESSIONAL RESOURCES AND REFERRALS

What types of professional resources can you help me locate?

We may provide official directories or publicly available information concerning VA-accredited representatives, attorneys, healthcare professionals, care managers, caregiver organizations, and financial or planning professionals.

Does FGAG select or recommend a professional for me?

No. Clients independently evaluate and select professionals based on credentials, experience, services, fees, and suitability.
Providing contact information or an introduction is not an endorsement or guarantee.

Are referred professionals part of Field Grade Advisory Group?

Independent professionals are not FGAG employees or agents unless expressly disclosed. Clients enter into separate agreements directly with the professionals they select.

Will you disclose referral or financial relationships?

Yes. Any known ownership, affiliate, financial, or referral relationship involving FGAG and a suggested professional will be disclosed before an introduction is made.

CONSULTATIONS, DOCUMENTS, AND PRIVACY

How do educational and organizational sessions work?

Sessions are generally conducted remotely. The operating team first confirms the general educational or administrative scope and explains what FGAG can and cannot provide.

Do you offer one-time or ongoing services?

One-time and limited ongoing administrative services may be available depending on the selected service. Ongoing work remains subject to the same medical, legal, financial, and accreditation boundaries.
FGAG does not monitor or manage VA claims and appeals.

When should I upload documents?

Do not upload documents until the service scope has been confirmed.
General education and referral discussions should not require detailed medical records, VA decisions, claim evidence, DBQs, appeal documents, or financial records.

How is personal information handled?

We limit requested information to what is reasonably necessary for the agreed service and use available secure transmission and storage methods. No electronic system can guarantee absolute security.
We do not send sensitive information to outside professionals without the client’s specific authorization.

Do you provide emergency services?

No. Field Grade Advisory Group does not provide emergency, medical, psychiatric, or crisis services. In an emergency, contact 911 or the appropriate local emergency service.

Do you provide services nationwide?

General educational and administrative services may be delivered remotely where permitted. Availability depends on the service requested and applicable professional or jurisdictional limitations.

How do I get started?

Contact the Field Grade Advisory Group operating team with a brief description of the general educational, healthcare-navigation, records-organization, referral, or planning service you are seeking.
Do not include detailed claim information or unrelated sensitive records in the initial message.
